One-On-One Treatments

I firmly believe that physical therapy and wellness aren’t a one-size-fits-all solution. That’s why I work closely with you to find out where you’re at in your fitness goals, then plan with you to get where you want to be.

Personalized Exercise Routines

Exercise isn’t good enough if it doesn’t work for you. I’ll help you get into shape with a routine that you find fun and engaging, making you more likely to stick to it.

Re-Education Exercises

Prevention is always better than the fix. I go through re-education exercises for my clients that are at higher risk of injuries or other complications, teaching them to take better care of their bodies long-term. Also for those are having to deal with physical restrictions due to injury and joint pain.

Massages are more than just something you splurge on during spa day. As a trained massage therapist, I can help your body relax, regain its center, and reinvigorate it to face another day. Specializing in Medical massage for injuries and surgery to facilitate faster recovery.

Hello, I’m Shannon.

I’ve been in the fitness industry since 1992. I began as a fitness instructor teaching Step Aerobics, Cardio Kickboxing, Spinning, Hi/Low Aerobics, and Strength Training. Later I began to teach Mat Pilates and then realized the great benefits it could offer to the people I taught.

My certifications include:

  • Pilates Body Reformer I
  • Balanced Body Trapeze/Cadillac Pilates
  • FiTOUR Advanced Pilates
  • NESTA Personal Trainer
  • NYS Licenced Massage Therapist
  • Freedom of Pain Institute

Pilates (along with my dance background) gave me a deeper understanding of proper form, body mechanics, balance, and stretching techniques. All of this has given me a keen insight into how the human body works – and has led to years of experience helping clients reach similar insights about their own bodies.

I’ve collaborated with physical therapists to continue patients’ recovery to strengthen weaknesses due to surgery – whether it be through postural analysis, functional and corrective training, or post-recovery joint injuries and stabilization. I’ve also worked with professional athletes in sports conditioning, addressing bad habits developed in the field that can lead to injuries if left uncorrected.
